BlackAndCamping is about encouraging black people to get out and enjoy nature by providing diverse camping experiences and camping resources that highlight and support the black camping community.

BlackAndCamping's mission is to introduce the world of camping to Us and Us to the world of camping highlighting the black camping experience through visualization, communication and awareness!

LixieJane grew up camping with 4-H and has always been an outdoors barefoot in the park type person. Camping was reintroduced to her as an adult and has grown into a mission to introduce more black people to camping by creating safe camping spaces and unique camping experiences. "If I can get you out the door and into the woods with comfort, you might want to come back out again."
